OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

1. Who Can Enter
Any legal U.S. resident, age 18 or older by April 25, 2007. Minors under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian in order to enter the contest. Only one registrant per household is accepted. Employees of Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana, their subsidiaries and members of their households or immediate families are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter
You are automatically entered in the sweepstakes when you complete this questionnaire, opt in to receive a follow-up survey via email and complete the follow-up survey. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter this contest. Completion of the survey form is not necessary for entry. For those not interested in completing a questionnaire, a sweepstakes entry may be obtained by sending a postcard with full name, postal address, phone number, email address, to:

Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana is not responsible for any entries lost in the mail. Mail-in entries must be postmarked between April 25, 2007 and October 1, 2007, with no more than one entry, and can be received not later than 5 p.m. Mountain Time October 10, 2007 (the "Eligible Mail-In Entries"). Only one entry per household is accepted. Any mail-in entry that is improperly dated, illegible, incomplete, late or does not carry proper postage will be disqualified.

3. Sweepstakes Dates
The Montana Internet Survey sweepstakes will begin on April 25, 2007, 12:01 a.m. MST and ends at 11:59 p.m. MST October 1, 2007. The drawing will be held based on the number of sweepstakes entries received through October 1, 2007.

4. Prize
One prize will be awarded: a Magellan Roadmate 2000 Vehicle Navigation System (total retail value is $390.)

Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana reserves the right to change or replace the prize at any time with a prize of equal or greater value. A prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner will be responsible for all federal, state, local or other applicable taxes in connection with the receipt of prizes.

5. Prize Drawings
The winner will be selected at random by Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana based on entries obtained via survey opt-ins (and eligible mail-in entries) from April 25, 2007 thru October 1, 2007. The prize drawing for the sweepstakes will be held on or around October 15, 2007.

6. Odds of Winning
Each entrant's odds of winning is dependent on the number of entries obtained via survey opt-ins (and eligible mail-in entries) from April 25, 2007 thru October 1, 2007.

7. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via e-mail within 7 days of the prize drawing (on or about October 15, 2007). The winner will be required to respond to the e-mail to acknowledge receipt of the prize. If no response is obtained within 21 calendar days of notification, the prize will be awarded to a replacement winner drawn at random. Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana’s decision about the winner is final.

In order to receive a prize, winners will be required to complete and return an Eligibility Certification, and any additional information, waivers and releases that may be required, which must be signed by the winner and their legal guardian (if under 21 years of age) and returned to the designated address within 14 days of the notification attempt or an alternate winner will be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If any prize notification or any prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner from the pool of all eligible entries. Failure to comply with the foregoing may cause the winner to forfeit their prize.

8. Limits of Liability
Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana has no responsibility whatsoever for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind that result from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. Montana assumes no liability for lost or misdirected registration forms or survey submissions whether due to technical or computer malfunctions or otherwise. Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana assumes no liability for technical or computer malfunctions of any kind. Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana reserves the right to cancel the sweepstakes at any time if any of Montana Department of Commerce – Travel Montana’s websites are infected by a virus, the website is hacked or the integrity of the sweepstakes is compromised in any way.

9. Change to Rules
These Official Contest Rules are subject to change each month that the sweepstakes is conducted. Participants should review the Official Contest Rules each month.

10. Winner Responsibilities
The winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities incurred.

12. Terms and conditions
Open to anyone who is a legal resident of the Continental U.S. and older than 18 years of age and not employees of Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana, its parent organization, the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them, nor members of their immediate families.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Entrants, by entering the Sweepstakes, agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this sweepstakes promotion.

Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. Illegible, unintelligible or incomplete entries or responses will be disqualified. Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, ineligible, or undelivered.

Montana Department of Commerce - Travel Montana is not responsible for technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes.

Any trademarks used in this promotion are the property of the respective trademark owners and are used herein for identification purposes only. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
